Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 92% of its metal finish. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.īore Condition: The grooves are grey and the rifling is deep. The LOP measures 13 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The wood shows numerous scrapes, scratches and compression marks. Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttplate shows scrapes, small scratches and oxidation. The rear sight is a “V” notched blade attached to a sliding escalator that is marked from “1-14”. Sights / Optics: The front sight is an inverted “V” post set between 2 protective ears. There are other small stampings on the rifle including “stars” and “crowned letters”. The left side of the butt is marked with the Chilean crest, “1935” and “C IA E in a circle”. The nosecap and barrel band are marked with the last 2 digits of the serial number. The bolt handle and bottom metal (twice) are marked with the serial number.

The top front of the receiver is marked “CHILE / crossed rifles / ORDEN Y PATRIA / MODELO 1935” and the top rear is marked with the “MAUSER” banner logo.
